Your Data Rights (GDPR)
Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights over your personal data held by LandlordTaxAi.
Right of access
Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you. We will provide this within 30 days at no charge.
Right to rectification
If any data we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to have it corrected. You can update most data directly in your account settings.
Right to erasure
Request deletion of your personal data. Note: we are required by HMRC record-keeping obligations (Taxes Management Act 1970) to retain transaction records for 7 years. Non-statutory data will be deleted promptly.
Right to data portability
Receive your transaction and property data in a machine-readable format (CSV or JSON). Contact us to request a full data export.
Right to object
Object to processing of your personal data based on legitimate interests. We will cease such processing unless we have compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.
Right to restrict processing
Request that we limit how we process your data while a dispute about accuracy or lawful basis is resolved.
Right to withdraw consent
Where processing is based on consent (e.g., marketing emails), you may withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us directly.
How to exercise your rights
Email hello@landlordtaxai.co.uk with the subject line “Data rights request” and specify which right you wish to exercise. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). We are committed to UK GDPR compliance and will complete our ICO registration before processing personal data at scale.
